Tomorrow James and I are leaving for a long vacation in Spain. We will be staying mostly in Madrid and travelling for short trips to Barcelona and Granada. Getting ready for a trip is almost as fun for me as the trip. I have enjoyed reading about the history of Spain. The art history student in me is peeing her pants to see Moorish architecture! And, I am really looking forward to taking photographs and hopefully resting my mind and getting inspired. If all goes well with technology, I will post some blogs and pictures from my trip. Fingers crossed!
This has been another great year for my business, Ornamental Things. I have worked harder this year than ever before. I am still finding the work of designing jewlery and running a business to be gratifying. Thank you so much to everyone who purchased my work this year or supported me in some other way.
Marisa will be wo-manning the fort while I am gone. She'll be sending out orders and answering calls. I will be checking in.

Granada is my favorite town in the whole world. Enjoy!
I love Bacelona and have tons of family there. If you get a chance, check out the Picasso Museum and the Dali Museum. And of course the Prado in Madrid. Have a great time!So jealous!!!!
