I really like the Mychelle face scrub but my store doesn't stock it as often as I want to buy it. I have been trying out some other brands but I haven't found another one that I like. Some of them are just a bunch of goopy stuff with about three little granules in them. That's no good.
I remembered hearing somewhere that you can make a scrub at home with olive oil and sugar. A quick google search found lots of different recipes, some with oatmeal and natural oils in them. I went with the simplest one. You start with some sugar and then you mix in enough olive oil to make it the consistency you like. You need to use white sugar because it is the finest. You can substitute brown sugar (pictured above) but it's kind of lumpy.
Then you just scrub it lightly all over your face. Super easy. I am just making it up as I need it now. I have also tried mixing some white suger in with that goopy store-bought, 3-granule stuff I mentioned above and it works well with that too.
If you are the type that needs exact measurements, here ya go:
1 tablespoon of white sugar
2 tablespoons of olive oil
